RasuunDrive® HighVac 8mm – Type 1

A high vacuum places challenges on, among other things, the outgassing behaviour of the used materials. Lubricated with Braycote, the RasuunDrive® HighVac 8mm – type 1 micro linear actuator system
is a micro linear actuator system with extremely short design for extreme demands.
In spite of its minimal axial length, a travel range of 10 mm can be realised thanks to the parallel arrangement of linear roller table and gear-spindle motor.
At its heart is a zero-backlash MaalonDrive® gear with a reduction ratio of 160:1 that is directly connected to a stepper motor with 20 steps per rotation and drives a ball screw with a pitch of 1 mm.
The end position on motor side is monitored by an inductive limit sensor.
