RasuunDrive® UHV 19mm – Type 7

The RasuunDrive® UHV 19mm – type 7 was designed as a
linear actuator system for ultra-high-vacuum environments and
offers a travel range of 10 mm. The system is driven by a stepper
motor with 200 steps per rotation. A mounted encoder with 10240 pulses per revolution at the second end of the stepper motor enables to drive the system in close loop control. At its core is a zero-backlash MaalonDrive® gear with a reduction ratio of
160:1. The stroke is realized by a ball-screw drives with a pitch of 1 mm. The linear actuator system is
attached by means of a 3/8″ – 40 UNS thread; the load is coupled
via a spherical surface. All moving components are lybricated with vacuum grease Krytox XHT-BDZ. The encoder comes along with 1m cabel which is suitable for UHV. And additionally a cable 3m long with a 15 Pins D-SUB connector only for normal pressure. To connect both cables a small PCB is included and each cable is equipped with a JST Micro connector. PCB and JST Micro connectors can be removed for vacuum feedthrough.
